The task
To facilitate a major disaster recovery test of multiple systems running the organisation's Global Safety Assessment
System to ensure compliance with United States Federal Drugs Administration regulations.
The result
Carried out the test successfully and granted an ongoing contract to carry out the test for the following four years.
Technology Corporation
The task
To develop business continuity and technical recovery plans for two of their call centres. This included a
full business continuity plan for each site plus a technical recovery plan for their telephony. Once these
plans were developed they we tested at a recovery centre.
The result
The test was carried out successfully and complied with the organisations internal business continuity standards.
Multinational
The task
To embed business continuity within the organisation. This project has been running for four years.
The first part of the project was to review all existing plans, methodology and recovery strategies.
Continuity² then worked with existing business continuity managers and those responsible for business
continuity to carry out bias and risk assessments develop strategies and helped them develop plans.
The plans were tested during a series of major exercises. At the same time Continuity² developed the
organisations' framework for business continuity including policies, management groups and a reporting
mechanism. Continuity² continue to advise the orginisation and to mentor the organisations' business
continuity managers.
The result
Business continuity successfully embedded in a major multidiscipline, multi-site and multi-national
organisation. The organisation continues to use the services of Continuity² for ongoing support.
Power Company
The task

To develop business continuity methodology for a number of different fuel power stations across the UK.
Developed the methodology and rolled it across all 6 power stations. Carried out an exercise involving an
emergency service response at each power station to test the plans.
The result
The methodology has been used on other organisations power stations. The business continuity plans were
successfully used recently during a major incident at the station.
